Southeast Wisconsin's Premier small boat dealer
Aquarius Sail BIO
Aquarius Sail had its start in the early 80's by supplying spare parts and rigging to regional multihull regattas. In 1986 it was operating from a 10 x 10 room for the summer months only. Today it is a year round operation in its own 8000 sq foot building. Aquarius Sail has always been a multihull supporter with such brands SuperCat, Hobie Cat, EscapeCat 16 and WindRider. Later on, Laser Performance, formally Sunfish & Laser, and Hunter Marine and Precision trailerable monohull lines were added . Aquarius Sail’s retail operation is augmented with fiberglass & HDLP repairs, product development, rigging with both Nicropress or roller swaging, and ASA sailing classes.
John McDaniel BIO
I learned to sail 61 years ago at a Boy Scout camp. That interest was passed on to my wife and daughters. It was a way for a father and daughters to spend quality time interacting together while sailing on vacations or competing in local and later national sailing events. My youngest daughter eventually became my crew for many national regattas and as a team won many top finishes and a national title. Keli is now the sales manager for Aquarius Sail. I have sailed with Bill Roberts and Tom Haberman on the SuperCat 22 and RC 27 in multihull national events for first place finishes. So our store logo says "Run for Sailors...By Sailors" is backed up by facts. I started in engineering at MSOE and graduated in 1964 from MIT. I am a certified ASA instructor, and have done consulting for various sailboat builders.
